Old Sarum Primary School is a large primary school situated in Old Sarum, on the outskirts of Salisbury. The successful candidate should have experience working with children and families, show initiative and have experience with safeguarding children and safeguarding policies and procedures The successful candidate will: • Appropriate academic qualifications to at least GCSE in English and Mathematics · Professional qualification relevant to post or ability to demonstrate competency through proven experience in a similar role · Previous safeguarding training/qualification · Demonstrate experience using ICT to write reports. · Knowledge of local and national guidance in relation to safeguarding children and promoting good attendance · Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents · Ability to work within a flexible and busy environment · Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills · Ability to work within set deadlines and tight timescales · Willingness to carry out routine and clerical tasks
