Family Support Lead and DDSL

The role will involve working closely with our families to ensure they have the support they need to enable their children to thrive.
This role is vital to our positive and inclusive community environment and offers a hugely rewarding, fulfilling and exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of our children and families.
As a DDSL the post holder will take responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school (including online safety and understanding the filtering and monitoring systems in place) alongside the rest of the safeguarding team.
The post holder will also take an integral role working alongside the Pastoral Support Team to support pupils with emotional regulation, reflecting and repairing using a restorative approach.

Personal attributes
We are looking for someone to support the school with planning and delivering practical support, advice and guidance to vulnerable children and their families to support students' academic, therapeutic, and pastoral needs.
Work alongside the team of DDSL's/ DSL and take responsibility for making decisions on safeguarding outcomes for children and families as required.
